About KIWIN'S/Key Club International

Key Club International
Key Club International, founded in 1925, is the oldest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization whose goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. The organization was started by California State Commissioner of Schools Albert C. Olney, and vocational education teacher Frank C. Vincent, who together worked to establish the first Key Club at Sacramento High School in California.
KIWIN'S
KIWIN'S is a district of Key Club International located in California, Nevada, and Hawaii with up to 44 clubs and over 2,500 members. KIWIN'S promotes good citizenship through service of its own while this also helps improve schools and communities as an influence for others to follow. There are 9 divisions active with Bakersfield, California being the Ruby Division.
Community Service
Community Service does indeed count as hours for high school and is the organization's best way of promoting goodness and service to others and of course...the community! Community service also helps out schools improve on the service given and helps the community grow stronger in one.
